Creating recycled electronic music

Born on Reunion Island into a modest family, Sébastien Lejeune has been making toys from an early age. It was then that he developed an affinity for salvaging and reusing materials. Since 2015, he has been making instruments from recycled materials during workshops, culminating in a performance of recycled music using these machines. Every sound used was recovered from his bins or the bins in his neighbourhood in Rouen Saint Sever. With his samplers filled with these collected sounds and his fabricated instruments, he takes us on a voyage of discovery of atypical electronic music.

The 10-track album Rupture will be released in January 2024.
